Removing Barriers Benefit Us All
When you make a space beyond accessible, that space becomes available to all.
For example, ramps make navigating public spaces easier for many people, not just people with disabilities. They can be a big help for parents pushing young children in strollers and people with mobility issues who struggle with stairs.
Did you know OXO kitchen utensils were originally invented for people with arthritis in mind? Did you know text messaging was originally invented for people with hearing impairments to communicate?
We are all benefiting from that on a daily basis.
A truly accessible space is more than just meeting building codes; ensuring that people of all abilities and ages have a fair and equitable opportunity to participate is essential. As society ages, the importance of creating spaces that are both accessible and conducive to aging in place becomes increasingly evident. We believe that with understanding and customization, everyone can comfortably participate in society, the workspace, seminars and conferences, absorb much, and bring out the best in each of us.

Let us help you create a truly Accessible space for people of all abilities and ages.
Accessibility Consulting
We will conduct a complete assessment of your facility to determine its current level of accessibility and provide personalized recommendations for improving it for the diversity of all users. Our expert will help you go beyond the minimum accessibility requirements to achieve a higher level of performance for all people on a commercial property or find the best solution for your home retrofit with aging in mind.
Our assessment process includes on-site visits, a review of drawings, and other planning documents. At the end of the assessment, you will receive an Accessibility report that provides an overview of key areas of success and areas of short—and long-term improvement.
